This is how I feel right now. Ready to take on the next story. But where have I been?

Well, I’m a lazy writer in the summer (or a non-writer–something unproductive). I’ll freely admit it. Just releasing The Conclave was difficult to schedule in. Honestly, this probably won’t change anytime soon. My husband and I are lucky enough to be able to tone down the work we do in the summer and spend oodles of time with our kids. And I LOVE that.

This year, just as school restarted, we had some family health problems that set back my plans to jump right in to writing. But things are looking better and my writing time has returned!! I’ve also been doing catch up on all the books I read and hadn’t reviewed. If you want to see the stories I devoured while traveling this summer, follow me on Goodreads. If you don’t have it, I would recommend getting it, it’s a good way to find amazing, new authors.

So, to review: I am still here and I am still writing and I’ve been doing far too much reading. Sounds about normal for me, right?!
