A Year of Reading

This is how my internet has been lately:

It works then it doesn’t. And WITHOUT FAIL it is not working when I sit down to blog. I think it’s a conspiracy. In fact, since it is working right now, I’m typing furiously to get this posted before the inevitable crash. I’d like to blame it on all the winter storms, but the more likely culprit is living in the middle of nowhere.

With great effort, I’ll stop my internet rate and get to the point of this blog. I set a goal to read 100 books this year. Yay, me!! Well, the goal is actually to read ONLY 100 and spend more time writing. (So far I’m not doing well with the ‘spend more time writing’ part.) The reading is going well, but I realized I have a bunch of books and I read and reviews un-posted. So, this week I’m going to post a review a day to catch up (starting tomorrow).

After that, I will stick with posting a review a week. Other reads I will review on Goodreads. I’ll post any YA I read on the blog, any indie authors, underrated authors, and any books I think merit your attention. Basically, I’ll post anything I want, but will probably be reading more than one book a week.

This past week I was sick with a gross cold which gave me lots of reading time (I think I read 6-8 books). I definitely won’t be reading that many every week, but on average 2. So, if you want to know all I’m reading, you can follow or friend me on Goodreads where all my reviews will show up. I also have a goal to organize my shelves there so you can check out my favorites, etc.

Last but not least, if you know of a book I would love or, better yet, wrote I book I would love send me the info and I will check it out! Now, I’m going to post this before the internet dies again! Happy reading, friends!
