The Café Inspo

First of all, the website is (mostly) through with updates!!! All the plugins and cache and other website builder things needed some updating or clearing or whatever. Basically it needed help and to progress into a new era of awesomeness. So here we are. Back to...

Back with Books

10 years! It has been almost ten years since I released the first book in The Converters Trilogy. I can not believe it has been that long. I was determined to not make readers wait for a conclusion (bit of a pet peeve of mine--I'm just not that patient). So, I did get...

A Hiatus or 2

Obviously, I've been very closed off from my writing circle of friends and readers for a number of months and I wanted to post a little update. In truth, I've been pretty closed off to all forms of social media, starting about mid-year. Summer is what did it. Most...

A book and a half

Lately, my nonexistent blog makes me think I am not much of a writer, but when I consider the hours I've recently spent writing, I guess I might still (barely) qualify for the title. 😉 So, I really have been writing, just not here. This is a bad and good thing, bad...

NaMoWriMo

It's back!! November and lots and lots of writing! This whole committing to write a novel in a month with thousands (or is it millions?) of other people was super effective for me last year. I wrote the whole first draft of The Conclave and started a little fairy tale...

A Fall Return

This is how I feel right now. Ready to take on the next story. But where have I been? Well, I'm a lazy writer in the summer (or a non-writer--something unproductive). I'll freely admit it. Just releasing The Conclave was difficult to schedule in. Honestly, this...

Review Tuesday – Skipping Forward

It's time to get back to some reviews! Today's is Skipping Forward by Bethany Wicker. This is a great cover. I liked it when I picked up the book and I liked it even more after having read the book. It really captures the emotion of our heroine, Molly. She has an...

Tour’s End and Future Plans

Today, Teacher of YA, was the last stop on the tour! I want to thank all of the bloggers who were willing to share THE CONCLAVE's launch with me. Now, it's out in the world......hopefully being enjoyed! A couple things to note: THE CONVERGENCE and THE KEEP are still...

Pre-Release Info

Let's start with some bad news...according to Amazon, there are extended delays with their file review team right now. Luckily, the e-book copy of The Conclave is good to go, but the paperback is not. AND, apparently, I can't get an estimate on when it will be ready....

Preview of The Conclave

The Conclave will be released in less than a week, so it's preview time!!!!!! I hope you enjoy chapter one and it makes you almost as excited as I am for release day! I'll post again tomorrow with info about the blog and then, on Monday, the tour will commence!! Happy...

New Characters-Meet Andrea and Petr Makovsky

Too much summer fun has put me a little behind, so today we're doubling up our character introductions! Name/Age: Petr Makovsky, mid-50's and Andrea Makovsky, mid-40's Occupation: Czech leaders. Part of the Conclave. Abilities: Petr and Andrea are both standard...

Review Tuesday – We Thought We Were Invincible

I read these two books back to back (believe me, you’ll want to do the same) so I’m going to review them here back to back. We Thought We Were Invincible was one of those stories that took me by surprise. I knew it would be emotional from the cover, but never expected...

New Characters – Meet Kerrill Ryker

Summer is here...and that means we're moving closer to The Conclave's release and that I have another character introduction for you!! Name/Age: Kerrill Ryker, 35 Occupation: Government agent...at least until he went rogue, setting a host of deadly skills loose....

New Characters – Meet Jian Zhao

Before I even began to outline THE CONCLAVE, I had a few new characters in mind. Jian Zhao was one of those early creations. Here are his stats: Name/Age: Jian Zhao, 24 Origin: Hong Kong Occupation: Mercenary. With his looks, multilingual knowledge, and intelligence,...
